About the Role
As a Senior Product Owner, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), you will own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for the AEM platform at the heart of a global pharmaceutical client’s Content Supply Chain. The platform brings together Adobe Workfront, AEM Assets and Adobe Express to help marketers and agency partners create, review, approve, distribute and reuse content faster and in a compliant way. You will sit between the business and technology teams, working with brand, marketing operations, creative and agency stakeholders, delivery leads, engineering squads and Adobe’s product teams. We are looking for someone with strong business sense and a deep functional understanding of the Adobe ecosystem who can turn business needs into a clear, prioritized backlog and deliver measurable value in a regulated environment where medical, legal and regulatory (MLR) review and brand governance shape how work gets done.
What will you do
- Platform strategy and roadmap: Drive the AEM platform strategy, set the product vision, goals and success measures (KPIs/OKRs), and build multi-quarter roadmaps with the business that balance new features, enhancements, technical debt and Adobe releases and upgrades.
- Adobe innovation: Keep up with where Adobe is heading (AEM as a Cloud Service, AEM Assets, Adobe Express, Workfront and generative AI such as Adobe Firefly) and spot where new capabilities can add real business value.
- Solution options: Weigh configure vs. customize vs. buy, leaning on out-of-the-box Adobe capabilities where they meet the need and keep long-term cost down.
- Business partnership: Act as the main link between business stakeholders, delivery teams and Adobe, run discovery sessions and workshops with marketers, agencies, marketing operations and MLR reviewers, and build consensus when priorities compete across brands, markets and functions.
- Communication: Share the roadmap, priorities, release plans, status, risks and trade-offs clearly with every audience, including senior leadership.
- Backlog ownership: Own and groom the product backlog in Jira, prioritize epics and features by value against effort, risk and dependencies, and write clear epics and user stories with business context and acceptance criteria.
- Agile delivery: Take part in PI and sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and demos, and accept completed work against agreed criteria.
Content Supply Chain integration: Shape how AEM, Adobe Express and Workfront work together end to end in a pharmaceutical content supply chain, from intake and briefing through creation, MLR review (e.g., Veeva Vault PromoMats), approval, distribution, modular content reuse and asset expiry.
- Integrations: Partner with architects on integrations between AEM and connected systems such as Veeva Vault PromoMats, marketing automation, CRM, analytics and agency tools.
- Vendor and delivery partnership: Work with Adobe product, engineering and Customer Success teams to raise product gaps, champion enhancement requests and join early adopter or beta programs, and work with delivery leads, architects and developers to make sure solutions follow AEM best practices and meet client standards for quality, system validation, data privacy, security and content governance.
- Adoption and value: Use personas, journey and process mapping and prototyping to design user-centered solutions, track metrics such as content cycle time, asset reuse, platform adoption, user satisfaction and cost per asset, and partner with change management and training teams to drive adoption.
