You'll partner closely with US-based Sales Development Representatives and Account Executives to build and qualify pipeline.

Responsibilities

Use Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn daily to manage pipeline, prioritize leads, and log activity with precision

Clearly and persuasively articulate OpenGov's value to US government decision-makers and quickly establish credibility

Hit weekly outbound activity and pipeline targets while staying disciplined about lead quality

Collaborate with marketing by following up on inbound and campaign-generated leads to maximize lead-to-opportunity conversion

Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in Salesforce for all prospecting activity

Requirements and Preferred Experience

2 to 4 years of experience in SDR, Sales or a customer-facing role

Excellent spoken and written English, with the confidence to cold-call US-based government decision-makers and quickly build rapport

Comfortable working US-aligned hours from Pune

A natural communicator who's confident talking to people you've never met, and knows how to make them glad you called

Genuinely curious about technology and its role in government, with a competitive drive and real passion for pushing the public sector forward

Excited by AI and what it means for government: able to speak to it credibly and see it as a differentiator in every conversation

Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) is a plus

Background in B2B, SaaS, outbound prospecting, BPO, or government is a bonus, but not expected at this level

Bachelor's degree preferred
