Life at UiPath

The people at UiPath believe in the transformative power of automation to change how the world works. We’re committed to creating category-leading enterprise software that unleashes that power.

To make that happen, we need people who are curious, self-propelled, generous, and genuine. People who love being part of a fast-moving, fast-thinking growth company. And people who care—about each other, about UiPath, and about our larger purpose.

Could that be you?

Your mission

As a Senior Business Development Representative, Swedish/Danish/Norwegian Speaker, you will create and qualify pipeline across enterprise and commercial targeted accounts, through both inbound and outbound. You’ll engage decision makers, run account-based outreach, and hand Account Executives well-qualified opportunities that turn into sales accepted opportunities (SAOs).

You’ll be part of UiPath’s International BDR team, based in our Bucharest hub and reporting to the BDR Director within the International BDR organization. You will work closely with the Regional Vice Presidents and Account Executives, agreeing which accounts to target and how to approach them, and you’ll partner with Marketing on campaigns and events. You’ll be measured on quarterly targets, and your work contributes directly to the region’s pipeline.

Please note: This is a 12-month fixed-term contract through a third-party partner, with the possibility of conversion to a permanent role depending on performance and business needs.

What you'll do at UiPath

Prospect into enterprise and commercial targeted accounts using account-based, multi-channel outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn)

Qualify and follow up on inbound leads and Contact Us requests from your accounts within agreed SLAs

Agree target account lists and outreach strategy with your RVPs and AEs, and run outbound on documented sales plays

Qualify opportunities using BANT, including budget and next steps, and run a clear handoff to the AE

Support events and campaigns: invite net-new prospects and follow up according to the agreed follow-up plan

Keep Salesforce accurate and complete, including disqualification and decline reasons, so Marketing and Sales can improve targeting

Use AI tools to research accounts, personalise outreach and increase productivity.

Share best practice and coach junior BDRs in the team

What you'll bring to the team

Fluency in Swedish, Danish or Norwegian (written and spoken)

Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Experience in business development, inside sales or a similar customer-facing role, ideally in B2B software or technology

Confidence engaging senior decision makers and running consultative discovery conversations

Commercial judgement: you can spot real buying signals and qualify accordingly

Strong organisation and CRM discipline, with a focus on outcomes

A collaborative approach across Sales and Marketing

Alignment with UiPath’s values:

Open: clear communication across teams

Driven: high-energy, resilient and committed to excellence

Curious: inquisitive, with a strong problem-solving mindset

Smart: keeps pace with industry trends and innovations

Responsible: manages priorities well and thrives in a team

What’s in it for you

A structured onboarding programme (BDR Fast Start) and a clear career path from the Bucharest hub into regional sales roles or other supporting functions.

Main changes from the original

Scope matches the senior layer: enterprise and targeted commercial accounts, inbound and outbound, account-based. The long tail is left to juniors

Reporting line and location: Bucharest hub, within the International BDR organization, rather than “sitting within the sales team, reporting to the Business Development Director”, since the reporting line may change

Marketing tasks removed: lead scoring, intent signals, building nurture sequences and creating collateral are Marketing’s job. BDRs follow documented sales plays instead of producing materials

SQLs replaced with SAOs, the metric stakeholders use in your model

Added: RVP calibration, BANT handoff, event follow-up plans, CRM reason codes, Fast Start onboarding and the career path
