Relay is a digital banking platform that gives self-made business owners the tools and know-how to be great with money—bringing clarity, confidence, and control to every dollar earned, so they can turn hard work into lasting success. We do this by replacing financial guesswork with real visibility, transforming cash flow from a constant source of stress into a clear signal owners can use to run stronger, more resilient businesses.

We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Growth to join our fast-growing Product Marketing team. This is a PMM role with a direct impact on revenue, at a company betting big on product-led growth as its next chapter. Most of our customers never talk to a salesperson — they discover Relay's value on their own, inside the product. That means the product itself needs to communicate its value, drive adoption, and turn engagement into revenue. You'll play a key role in shaping that experience by understanding customer behaviour, identifying moments of value, and building pathways that drive conversion and monetization.

This is an ideal role for a PMM who thinks like a product manager, writes like a storyteller, and thrives on driving measurable growth. You'll bring the go-to-market lens to product decisions, partnering closely with Product Management and Product Design to shape how customers discover, experience, and ultimately pay for Relay's value.

What You’ll Be Doing

Monetization & Conversion Strategy: Own positioning and messaging across key monetization touchpoints, including paywalls, upgrade prompts, plan comparisons, and trial experiences. Clearly communicate product value to drive conversion while building customer trust

Roadmap & Strategy Partnership: Serve as a key voice of the customer to inform product roadmap decisions and prioritization. Partner closely with Product Management and Marketing to align product strategy with customer needs, market opportunities, and growth potential

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Brand, Demand Generation, Lifecycle, and Product to deliver consistent positioning and messaging across the customer journey, from acquisition and onboarding to activation and retention

Customer & Competitive Insights: Lead research efforts to understand SMB needs, customer behaviour, competitive dynamics, and market trends. Translate these insights into compelling positioning, messaging, and growth opportunities

Experimentation & Growth Optimization: Own the strategy and execution of experiments to improve conversion, adoption, and monetization. Partner with Product, Performance Marketing, and Data to identify opportunities, define success metrics, test hypotheses, and iterate based on performance insights

Compliance & Regulatory Partnership: Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to ensure product messaging, monetization strategies, and growth initiatives meet regulatory requirements while delivering a seamless customer experience

Who You Are

You have 5+ years of experience in product marketing or growth/performance marketing, preferably at a high-growth B2B or B2B2C company, with a focus on marketing to SMBs. Bonus points for experience in UX writing, content design, or technical writing

You have experience with product-led growth (PLG), and understand how to drive activation, conversion, and adoption through the product experience

You have a strong experimentation mindset – you know how to identify opportunities, develop hypotheses, define KPIs, run tests, and turn insights into measurable growth

You’re a data-driven storyteller who can turn complex product features and customer insights into compelling narratives that resonate with customers and drive action

You’re a customer champion who engages deeply with customers, advocates for their needs, and translates insights into positioning and messaging that connects with them

You thrive in fast-paced environments, bringing a strong ownership mindset, bias for action, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage competing priorities, and drive measurable results
