Technical Program Manager, Revenue Operations
About Pleo
Messy spend management is tricky business. And tedious processes are a lose-lose situation for all involved, not just finance. At Pleo, we're changing that. We build spend solutions that make managing money seamless, empowering, and surprisingly effective for finance teams and employees alike - with a vision to help all businesses ‘go beyond’.
The word ‘Pleo’ actually means ‘more than you’d expect’, and living by that mantra has been the secret to our success over the last 10 years.
Now, we’re at a pivotal moment in our journey; every move we make has a direct impact on our 40,000+ customers, our business, and our collective success. We need people who take pride in uncovering customer needs, who turn complex problems into simple solutions, challenge the way things are done (respectfully), and always aim high. With great ambitions driving us forward, we can’t say we’ve got this whole thing figured out. And frankly, that’s half the fun! What we can say is that we’re a driven, progressive, and, importantly, a kind bunch of 850+ people from over 100 nationalities, all committed to delivering the future of business spending, together.
About the role
We're looking for a Technical Program Manager, Revenue Operations to join our Revenue Operations at Pleo. In this role, you'll help build the technical and operational infrastructure that enables Pleo’s revenue organisation to scale and be part of cross-functional programs as we scale Pleo's customer and revenue lifecycle. If you're excited about solving complex architectural challenges at the intersection of business systems and data and are passionate about SaaS, fintech, and modern Revenue Operations, then this is the opportunity for you!
Who you’ll be working with and reporting to
You’ll report to our Director of Revenue Operations and work closely with teams in Sales, Customer Success, Customer Experience, Marketing, and Customer Onboarding. Our team of Revenue Operations professionals is highly collaborative and dedicated to building a scalable, reliable, and connected revenue operating system. You’ll also have the chance to partner with teams across Product, Engineering, Data and Analytics, Business Systems, and Finance to ensure success.
What you’ll be doing
As a Technical Program Manager, Revenue Operations, you will:
Lead complex technical programs across the revenue technology ecosystem – from discovery and requirements definition through architecture design, implementation, UAT, launch, and post-launch adoption.
Translate requirements bidirectionally – turn complex commercial challenges into precise technical specs for Engineering and Data teams, while breaking down technical trade-offs, system dependencies, and risks for business stakeholders.
Drive revenue systems and CRM initiatives – optimize architecture and end-to-end data flows across lead-to-opportunity, sales-to-onboarding handoffs, renewal, churn risk, and billing operations.
Identify and eliminate technical and operational debt – architect future-state solutions rather than quick fixes, automating manual workflows and improving data integrity across critical revenue systems.
Champion modern automation and AI-enabled RevOps capabilities – integrate intelligent workflows, predictive customer health signals, and agent-based workflows to accelerate commercial productivity.
What you bring
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
5+ years of Technical Program Management experience – a proven track record of managing complex technical programs involving multi-system integrations, data models, APIs, and technical dependencies.
A strong understanding of the SDLC and revenue mechanics – deep comfort with software development workflows (Agile/hybrid) paired with a solid grasp of the B2B revenue lifecycle (lead routing, pipeline, onboarding, retention, expansion).
System architecture fluency – the ability to challenge technical designs, evaluate failure scenarios, define sources of truth, and ensure long-term scalability.
Exceptional stakeholder management and influence – strong executive communication skills, high cross-functional influence without direct authority, and the ability to lead governance, risk tracking, and UAT.
