Unstoppable starts with people. The future of payments is being built today, and at Paymentology, we are looking for people who want to help shape it. We power card issuing for leading banks, fintechs and digital brands across the globe, and as we continue to grow, we are looking for curious, ambitious people who thrive on solving complex challenges, embrace innovation and want to make a tangible impact at global scale.

We're looking for an experienced Operational Resilience & Business Continuity Manager to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Paymentology's global Business Continuity, Operational Resilience and Crisis Management programme. This role is key to ensuring our critical business services remain resilient, strengthening our ability to respond to disruptions and supporting our regulatory and client commitments across multiple markets.

This is a unique opportunity to shape and strengthen a global resilience programme, working closely with Security, Technology and senior business stakeholders. You'll have significant ownership of resilience governance, business impact assessments, testing and crisis management, while partnering with Technology teams responsible for technical disaster recovery.

If you have hands-on experience building and implementing resilience frameworks in regulated environments, enjoy solving complex challenges and can influence stakeholders across a global organisation, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact.

What you get to do

Operational Resilience Strategy & Governance

Develop, implement and continuously improve Paymentology's global Business Continuity and Operational Resilience framework.

Establish governance, policies, procedures and reporting mechanisms to strengthen organisational resilience.

Identify important business services and define appropriate impact tolerances, recovery priorities and resilience requirements.

Work with senior stakeholders to assess resilience maturity, identify gaps and drive improvements across the organisation.

Ensure resilience arrangements align with relevant regulatory expectations, industry standards and client commitments.

Business Impact Assessment & Dependency Mapping

Lead Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) to understand the operational, financial, regulatory and customer impact of service disruptions.

Map critical business services, processes, technology components, third-party dependencies, operational teams and locations.

Define and maintain methodologies for impact tolerances, recovery prioritisation and resilience assessments.

Collaborate with business and Technology teams to ensure recovery arrangements reflect business requirements and customer obligations.

Resilience Testing & Recovery Assurance

Develop and coordinate a structured resilience testing programme, including tabletop exercises, crisis simulations and technical recovery exercises.

Partner with Technology teams to assess whether disaster recovery plans, runbooks and recovery capabilities meet agreed business requirements.

Challenge technical recovery assumptions and identify gaps between technical capabilities and business impact tolerances.

Document testing outcomes, identify weaknesses and ensure remediation actions are prioritised and tracked through to closure.

Promote continuous improvement by incorporating lessons learned from incidents, testing and recovery exercises.

Crisis Management & Business Continuity

Develop and maintain Paymentology's global crisis management framework, including governance, escalation procedures and response arrangements.

Coordinate with local and global teams to support effective responses to major incidents and operational disruptions.

Ensure business continuity plans address critical operations, alternative working arrangements, employee safety and customer service continuity.

Facilitate crisis management exercises and support organisational preparedness for disruptive events.

Work with stakeholders to improve incident response, recovery coordination and organisational resilience.
