Customer Marketing Manager
Our mission and why it matters
We are on a mission to make humans the strongest security layer.
Human risk remains one of the biggest vulnerabilities and traditional awareness training is not enough. We take a different approach by combining AI-driven personalization, real threat detection, and behavioral science to actively protect people and organizations.
We don't just simulate risks. We build the tools that detect and stop them.
Why this role matters
We’re looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to turn our growing customer base into a stronger growth engine.
Your job is to build the marketing engine that helps existing customers buy more from Hoxhunt, and turn customer success into proof that helps us win and grow more customers.
This is a new role, so you won’t inherit a finished customer marketing playbook. You’ll be the one building it.
Your first priority will be expansion marketing: building a repeatable way to identify the right customer audiences and create demand for additional Hoxhunt products and capabilities. Alongside this, you’ll build the customer proof and advocacy engine that supports both expansion and new business.
You’ll own customer marketing globally, working across our US and EMEA customer base. The goal is to build one scalable customer marketing approach while tailoring programs to different customer segments, markets and expansion opportunities.
You’ll work closely with Customer Success, Sales, Product Marketing, RevOps and the wider Marketing team.
This is a hands-on role. We’re looking for someone who can build the strategy, run the programs and measure whether they create commercial impact.
What you’ll own and drive
Build our customer expansion marketing:
Build and run marketing programs that help existing customers discover and buy additional Hoxhunt products and capabilities.
Work with Customer Success, Sales and RevOps to identify customer segments and signals with expansion potential, and turn those into targeted marketing programs.
Develop scalable digital campaigns and lifecycle programs, alongside more targeted plays for high-value customer segments and accounts.
Take the positioning and messaging developed by Product Marketing and turn product launches and new capabilities into relevant campaigns for existing customers.
Build repeatable programs for cross-sell, product launches and expansion rather than relying on one-off campaigns.
Build measurement from customer engagement through to expansion opportunities, pipeline and revenue, so we can see which programs create commercial impact and where to invest more.
Test, learn and improve how we create demand within our customer base.
Build our customer proof
Make sure we have strong customer evidence for the products, markets, industries and use cases that matter most.
Work backwards from the proof Sales and Marketing need to win, then find customers with strong results and turn those outcomes into stories, quotes, data points, videos, references and other evidence.
Build a repeatable way to identify strong customer stories rather than relying on ad-hoc requests.
Work with Product Marketing, Sales and Marketing to identify where customer proof is missing and fill those gaps.
Make customer proof easy for Sales and Marketing to find and use.
Build customer advocacy
Build and manage a healthy pool of customers who are willing to advocate for Hoxhunt.
Develop relationships with customers who can act as references, speakers, reviewers and contributors to our content.
Make it easy to match the right advocate to the right opportunity without repeatedly relying on the same customers.
Work with Customer Success to identify potential advocates and make advocacy a natural part of the customer relationship.
What success looks like
You’ll help us answer three important questions much better than we can today:
Expansion: How effectively are we creating expansion opportunities and pipeline from our existing customer base?
Customer proof: Do Sales and Marketing have the customer evidence they need to win across our priority products, markets and use cases?
