Develop complete control panel schematic, layout and BOM using ECAD tools.

Select appropriate control panel components including connectors, wire harnesses, branch circuit protection devices (breakers, fuses), and power conversion devices (drives, transformers, rectifiers)

Select components rated for 600V AC and 2000V DC high-voltage applications

Work directly with third-party panel vendors to translate design intent into built assemblies. Execute and oversee high-voltage testing procedures including hipot, insulation resistance, and functional validation

Collaborate with mechanical engineers on panel enclosure selection, thermal management, and physical integration

Support DFMEA activities for panel-level failure mode identification and risk mitigation

What you'll bring

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; OR Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience

Familiar in panel design using ECAD tools such as SW EPLAN, Solidworks Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent

Hands-on experience in testing with high-voltage testing procedures and associated safety protocols

Strong working knowledge of branch protection coordination, wire sizing, and power conversion device integration

Experience managing third-party panel fabrication vendors through design, build, and acceptance phases

Familiarity with the SW including PLM (e.g. Arena or Team Center), product development SW (e.g. JIRA) and requirement management tools (e.g. JAMA)
