What you will do:

Report and control risk parameters such as prices, volatilities, and correlations

Ensure the completeness and accuracy of data in the ETRM application, supporting its functional and technical stability

Develop and monitor an adequate Middle Office control framework for Axpo Iberia activities

Support the Risk Manager in applying sound methodologies to analyze business products and define development activities for the Power and Gas Division

Assist the Risk Manager in assessing risk indicators, analyzing scenarios, and reporting risks

Collaborate closely with other departments, including Controlling, Accounting, and Front Office

What you bring & who you are:

A Bachelor's or University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field

A good understanding of financial markets and commodities

Strong communication skills and a collaborative, committed mindset

Sound judgement and confident decision-making abilities

Fluent in Spanish and English

Ideally, 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in the electricity/gas or financial sector, or within a Big 4 audit firm, along with a Master's or specialized training in Quantitative Finance, Financial Derivatives, or an FRM qualification

About the team: You'll join a collaborative team at the heart of Axpo Iberia's trading operations, working closely with Risk Management and other departments. We value analytical rigor, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
