Nomios is currently seeking for a Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in diagnosing and resolving issues within LAN and WAN environments, ensuring smooth and efficient network operations. You will manage incident cases through our Incident Management System, handle alerts and customer inquiries, and perform standard changes as needed.

Responsibilities

Diagnose problems within LAN and WAN environments.

Logs and monitors an Incident Management System for new and updated cases.

Respond to and resolve alerts and cases within defined SLA's on all defined priorities.

Receive and respond to incoming calls, portal requests, and/or e-mails from customers.

Resolve simple to medium incidents.

Work shifts including weekends on a rotational basis in a 'follow the sun' model (2 locations worldwide).

Perform proper handover between shifts.

Perform standard changes as requested by customers and internal engineering departments.

Handle escalations according to defined process and procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Experience working on networking technologies and experience working with routing and switching protocols.

Experience with fire-walling technologies is a plus.

Fluent in English and Dutch.

Experienced with communicating directly with customers and customer-oriented.

Certified at CCNA/JNCIS/ACE-A level or equivalent. Multiple vendor technologies certified is a plus.

Minimum 2-3 years working experience within the ISP/MSP/Telecom industry.
