Do you enjoy assisting customers and solving problems? Our Credit Control team is looking for a Credit & Customer Experience Officer to support customers with their accounts and payments. Making sure every interaction every interaction is a positive one while keeping accounts in good order.

What you’ll be doing

Being the first point of contact for customers calling about their accounts

Helping customers understand their balances and resolving billing and payment queries

Agreeing workable payment solutions with customers and arranging the return of equipment where needed

Working with other departments to resolve customer issues end to end

Reviewing sales made by other departments to make sure they meet credit requirements

Keeping customer records accurate and up to date

Supporting the team’s back-office processes and controls

Requirements

Excellent spoken and written communication skills in Maltese and English

A customer-first attitude, with patience and empathy in difficult conversations

Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to find solutions that work for both the customer and the business

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

Good organisational skills and attention to detail

The ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage deadlines

‘O’ Level standard of education

Experience in customer service, a contact centre or an accounts role is an advantage but not essential
