Reservations coordinator (EU work eligible)

The international 5-star hotel Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga invites a RESERVATIONS COORDINATOR (EU work eligible) to join its team.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring high-quality, professional handling of reservations - from receipt and processing to preparing offers - in accordance with guests' requests and the hotel’s standards.
• Providing information, answering phone calls and emails, and coordinating incoming and outgoing communications.
• Handling telephone reservations in compliance with the hotel’s standards.
• Accurately entering reservations into the hotel’s property management system.
• Monitoring and verifying reservations received from online distribution channels.
• Informing relevant hotel departments about guests' special requests.
• Actively promoting and upselling higher-category rooms and other hotel services.
• Entering group rooming lists into the reservation system.

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel Reservations or Front Office departments.
• Experience working with a hotel property management system (Opera or Fidelio).
• Excellent written and verbal proficiency in Latvian and English (for communication with international guests).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer literacy.
• A strong sense of responsibility, focus, and sharp attention to detail.
• A degree or coursework in hospitality or the humanities will be considered an advantage.
