Role Overview

Develop tools, curate datasets and generate insights on geofence expansion goals and key autonomy investments required to achieve our goals.

Responsibilities

Collect requirements for the Autonomy team
Leveraging AI tools (Claude, Cursor, etc) curate datasets and build tools for analysis
Share insights and recommendations based on analysis performed

Required Qualifications

In a engineering or data-type program (statistics, data science, etc)
Hands on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini

Bonus Qualifications

Previous experience in robotics and/or autonomy
Pyspark or SQL

Program Requirements

Currently enrolled in a B.S. or M.S. program in a relevant discipline.
Available to commit to a minimum three-month assignment.
Able to commit a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Able to work on-site in Foster City Ca .
Must adhere with Zoox confidentiality requirements, including refraining from using or sharing proprietary company information outside of Zoox, such as in academic research, theses, publications, or presentations.
