Accountabilities:

Market Research and Opportunity Identification: Maintain a strong understanding of consumer healthcare markets, identify attractive product categories, and evaluate opportunities through customer research, surveys, competitor analysis, demand testing, and market validation.

Product Launch and Expansion: Lead new product categories from initial concept to launch, developing comprehensive launch strategies and coordinating Clinical, Product, Operations, Supply Chain, and Growth teams to ensure successful execution.

Growth Strategy: Own the end-to-end growth strategy for each new product vertical, covering customer acquisition, performance marketing, creative development, conversion optimization, organic growth, and lifecycle marketing.

Cross-Selling and Customer Value: Develop strategies to introduce complementary products into existing customer journeys while maintaining a seamless experience and maximizing conversion rates, average order value, and incremental customer lifetime value.

Commercial and Financial Performance: Take ownership of unit economics across new product categories, monitoring customer acquisition costs, gross margins, retention, attach rates, cross-sell performance, payback periods, and lifetime value to guide investment decisions.

Customer Retention: Build sustainable product experiences and customer journeys that encourage repeat purchases, strengthen engagement, and generate long-term value beyond initial transactions.

Team Building and Leadership: Initially operate as the primary decision-maker and execution owner, removing blockers and driving progress independently, before recruiting and developing a lean, high-performing expansion team.

Continuous Optimization: Monitor key performance indicators, identify opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven decisions about scaling, refining, or discontinuing product initiatives.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience expanding an established direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand into new product categories that its existing customers had not previously purchased.

Strong background in consumer businesses and international D2C markets, ideally within fast-growing, entrepreneurial environments.

Demonstrated expertise in growth strategy, including customer acquisition, performance marketing, conversion optimization, and retention strategies for new product categories.

Strong commercial judgment and the ability to evaluate market opportunities, validate demand, develop business cases, and make investment decisions based on evidence.

Excellent understanding of unit economics and growth metrics, including CAC, AOV, gross margin, cross-sell rate, attach rate, retention, payback periods, and customer lifetime value.

Proven experience leading complex product launches and coordinating cross-functional teams across Product, Operations, Growth, Supply Chain, and other specialist functions.

A hands-on builder mentality, with the ability to independently own initiatives, solve problems, develop initial solutions, and bring products to market with limited resources.

Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities, combined with the capacity to make high-quality decisions in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on execution and measurable results.

High levels of ownership, resilience, urgency, integrity, and adaptability, with a strong commitment to customer experience and operational excellence.

Experience launching regulated consumer products and navigating regulatory requirements, product claims, and evidence standards.

Experience evaluating build-versus-buy opportunities, including partnerships, licensing arrangements, and acquisitions.

Familiarity with AI-powered tools and the ability to develop agentic workflows to improve productivity and execution.

Previous experience recruiting and managing lean teams during new product or category expansion.
