Lead current-state assessments of Record-to-Report processes in collaboration with controllers and finance operations stakeholders.

Design the target automation solution across period-end close, account reconciliation, journal processing, and intercompany activities.

Document the solution design and define how standard Redwood capabilities should be used, identifying where custom extensions are justified.

Design integrations between Redwood Finance Automation, SAP S/4HANA or ECC, and other relevant source systems.

Define balance sheet auto-certification rules, approval workflows, internal controls, and audit trails to support compliant and auditable financial processes.

Guide engineering teams throughout development and review delivered solutions against the agreed design.

Develop the test strategy and acceptance criteria in collaboration with finance users.

Support testing and go-live activities, resolving design challenges as they arise.

Define a roadmap for subsequent phases of finance automation following the initial implementation.

Requirements

The ideal candidate combines substantial finance transformation expertise with hands-on solution design experience in Redwood Finance Automation. You should be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and translating complex finance processes into actionable technical designs. Key qualifications include:

Proven ownership of solution design for at least one live Redwood Finance Automation (RunMyFinance) implementation, including leading design workshops and personally producing the solution documentation.

At least 8 years of experience in finance transformation, finance systems, or Record-to-Report process design.

Working knowledge of SAP FI/CO or an equivalent Oracle finance environment.

Understanding of how financial close and reconciliation data flows between ERP systems and finance automation platforms.

Experience facilitating workshops with finance stakeholders and translating business requirements into solutions that can be built and tested.

Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage senior finance leaders and confidently defend solution design decisions.

Professional fluency in English.

Additional experience that would be advantageous:

Hands-on Redwood configuration or development experience.

Familiarity with BlackLine, Trintech, or SAP Advanced Financial Closing.

A relevant finance qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.

Experience in financial services or another regulated industry, particularly with SOX or comparable audit and control frameworks.

Duration to be confirmed.
