Accountabilities

  • Lead the end-to-end development of partner-facing web applications, taking ownership of implementation, architecture, maintenance, and production releases.
  • Design, develop, and maintain an embeddable onboarding module that allows financial technology partners to offer white-label and co-branded brokerage account opening experiences.
  • Build and optimize complex, multi-step onboarding workflows for individual and business brokerage accounts, including applications, owner and signer management, identity verification, and regulatory compliance checks.
  • Develop and maintain partner-specific application builds using a shared codebase, ensuring consistency, flexibility, and scalability across different integrations.
  • Own the development and continuous improvement of partner dashboards, enabling business partners to view and manage customer accounts, investment positions, statements, account reports, joint and advisory account details, and notification settings.
  • Build self-service functionality that reduces manual operational work, allowing partners to manage business information, update account details, and add participants without requiring support intervention.
  • Collaborate with Backend Engineers to migrate existing business-account workflows to a new API version, adapting front-end applications to updated data models and service requirements.
  • Maintain and improve multiple front-end codebases, including dependency updates, shared component alignment, performance optimization, and technical consistency.
  • Work with modern front-end technologies to develop responsive, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces.
  • Collaborate directly with Product Managers and Designers to translate Figma designs, product requirements, and business objectives into high-quality production features.
  • Define and coordinate API contracts with backend engineering teams, identifying potential integration challenges and recommending improvements when API designs create unnecessary front-end complexity.
  • Contribute to the Node.js server layer supporting web applications, including integrations with Koa, gRPC services, and PostgreSQL.
  • Manage the complete release lifecycle, from preview environments and user acceptance testing (UAT) through production deployment.
  • Ensure application reliability through careful form validation, error handling, edge-case management, and consistent user experience across complex workflows.
  • Take ownership of technical and product challenges beyond predefined responsibilities, identifying opportunities to improve the platform and deliver greater value to partners and end users.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of professional experience building and maintaining production web applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Strong expertise in modern front-end development, including component-based architecture, reusable UI patterns, responsive interfaces, and maintainable application design.
  • Experience with modern front-end technologies such as React, TypeScript, Vite, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Familiarity with component libraries and development tools such as Radix UI, React Aria, and Storybook.
  • Strong experience developing complex, multi-step forms and data-intensive interfaces, including validation, conditional workflows, edge cases, and error-state management.
  • Experience with form and data management tools such as React Hook Form, Zod, and SWR.
  • Working knowledge of Node.js and server-side application development, particularly Koa, gRPC, and PostgreSQL. This role requires experience beyond browser-only front-end development.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Backend Engineers to define API contracts, understand data models, and resolve integration challenges.
  • Experience translating product requirements and design specifications into functional, polished, and production-ready applications.
  • Understanding of software release processes, including preview environments, user acceptance testing, and production deployment.
  • Strong product-oriented mindset, with the ability to understand user needs and business objectives rather than simply implementing predefined technical tasks.
