Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the general accounting function, including accounts payable, payroll, cash management, and general ledger activities
Oversee the month-end close process and ensure accurate financial reporting
Manage global banking relationships and corporate credit card programs
Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for executive leadership
Lead annual audits and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and corporate policies
Supervise and develop the accounting, reporting, payroll, and banking teams
Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and operational efficiencies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
CPA required
10+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, audits, and internal controls
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains or Business Central is a plus
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and analytical skills
