Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.

Key Responsibilities

Process full-cycle, high-volume accounts payable for multiple units
Review invoices for proper coding and supporting documentation
Maintain vendor records and support W-9 and 1099 requirements
Generate payments and research AP discrepancies and outstanding checks
Reconcile monthly AP aging reports and AP-related balance sheet accounts
Process corporate credit card expenses and employee reimbursements
Assist with journal entries, accruals, and monthly and year-end close
Support audit preparation and other accounting projects
Communicate with internal teams to resolve AP and accounting questions

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Recent graduates with a solid academic record are encouraged to apply
Strong understanding of debits and credits and basic accounting principles
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Prior accounting or AP experience is a plus, but not required
Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and organizational skills
Self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable taking initiative
Collaborative attitude and strong communication skills
