Ready to lead, disrupt and reinvent the sleep industry?

We are Emma – The Sleep Company. Founded in 2015, we have grown into the world’s largest direct-to-consumer (D2C) sleep brand, with a presence in over 20 markets and more than 35 Emma stores across Europe.

Our mission is simple: to develop sleep comfort products that empower our customers to awaken their best every day. Today, our products are trusted by millions and recommended by leading consumer associations worldwide.

It’s our people who bring this mission to life. At Emma, you’ll join a driven, international team that values ownership, collaboration, and continuous knowledge sharing. With colleagues from over 70 nationalities, we combine diverse perspectives with a shared ambition to learn, grow, and create lasting impact, together.

Ready to awaken your best with us?

What you'll do:

  • Own the technical architecture of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain (F&O) landscape, with a focus on the Procurement and Sales cycles.
  • Define and maintain the target architecture, extension strategy, and technical standards for F&O, and make sure customizations stay upgrade-safe and maintainable.
  • Lead technical delivery of implementations, rollouts, and migrations, from solution design through cutover and hypercare. This includes migrations from legacy systems to D365 F&O and rollouts to new markets and legal entities.
  • Design and run data migration strategies using the Data Management Framework (DMF), covering mapping, validation, reconciliation, and performance at volume.
  • Architect, design, and govern integrations between D365 F&O and third-party or legacy systems. You'll choose the right patterns (APIs, events, batch, middleware) to keep data flows reliable, scalable, and monitored.
  • Own the technical infrastructure: environment strategy, Azure services, Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC) and Lifecycle Services (LCS) management, and the CI/CD and ALM pipelines (Azure DevOps) that support safe, repeatable releases.
  • Plan and lead One Version updates, quality updates, and platform upgrades, including regression strategy and release readiness.
  • Drive performance, security, and observability: tuning, monitoring, alerting, and the security framework (roles, duties, privileges, and data access).
  • Work with Consultants, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to turn requirements into sound technical designs, and run design and code reviews to hold the quality bar.
  • Stay hands-on where it matters: build and review critical X++ components, resolve complex technical issues, and create the technical documentation behind key decisions.
  • Evaluate ISVs and new platform capabilities, and make clear build-versus-buy recommendations.

Who we are looking for:

  • 8+ years of technical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain (formerly AX), including experience as a technical architect or technical lead on full implementations
  • Proven track record leading large-scale D365 F&O implementations and migrations end to end
  • Hands-on experience within the Procurement and Sales cycles

Architecture & Platform

  • Deep knowledge of the D365 F&O architecture and extensibility model (Chain of Command, event handlers, extensions over overlayering)
  • Strong proficiency in X++, including SysOperation, set-based operations, the Data Management Framework (DMF), and the security framework
  • Experience defining environment strategy and deployment topology (dev, test, UAT, production)
  • Solid understanding of performance diagnosis and optimization in F&O

Azure, Cloud & DevOps

  • Strong Azure knowledge, including Azure Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps, Data Lake, and Azure AD (service principals, managed identities)
  • Experience building and governing CI/CD pipelines and ALM practices in Azure DevOps (build automation, model and package deployment, release management)
  • Experience with LCS and Power Platform Admin Center
  • Experience with monitoring, telemetry, and alerting for production systems

Integration & Data

  • Experience designing enterprise integrations with middleware platforms, including error handling, retry logic, and monitoring
  • Solid understanding of API design and consumption (REST/SOAP, JSON/XML), authentication (OAuth 2.0, Azure AD), and secure data exchange
  • Experience with data migration strategy, from legacy ERP to D365 F&O, covering cleansing, mapping, load, and reconciliation
  • Microsoft Power Platform knowledge (Power Automate, PowerApps, Power BI)

ISV & Ecosystem Knowledge

  • Understanding of key Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) within the Dynamics ecosystem, and how to assess and integrate them

Soft Skills

  • Technical leadership through influence: you set direction and standards without needing a team to manage
  • Clear communicator who can explain architecture decisions to both technical and business audiences
  • Able to work independently and proactively, and to balance long-term architecture with delivery deadlines
  • Strong prioritization, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
  • Results-oriented, with a focus on reliable, well-documented delivery

What we offer:

  • Maturing Scale-Up: We're part of the 13–20% of start-ups that transition to scale-up. This is a rare stage where we refine systems without losing agility. It's where start-up energy meets scalable impact, and where people can build the next version of Emma.
  • Empowerment to Impact: Every Emmie owns part of our success with accountability. It's about seeing it, owning it, doing it. We value it and measure it in development.
  • Growth & Learning Journey: We live by the 70/20/10 model: 70% on the job, 20% from others, 10% structured training. We invest in your growth with trainings and coaching to get you to the top of your game.
  • Emma-zing Community: We hire selectively, which means working with smart, collaborative people who care deeply. It's a community built by Emmies for Emmies.
  • Next Level Global: With 70+ nationalities across 4 offices, global collaboration is part of our values. You'll work across cultures, perspectives, and time zones.
  • Flexibility: Our Technology team's remote work policy allows for great flexibility. (Please note that the role requires being based in Portugal or Germany.)
