This role will play a key part in establishing and developing APAC Cash Applications, ensuring accurate and timely payment allocation, strong financial controls, and efficient regional processes.

The role will initially support the implementation and testing of new APAC bank accounts and related GetPaid system configurations, followed by ongoing ownership of regional cash application operations. • Support the implementation of new APAC bank accounts and related system configurations in GetPaid and Oracle, partnering with FIS, JPMorgan, and internal Finance Systems team and the UK Cash Application team.
  • Perform end-to-end testing of bank data flows, payment processing, cash allocation, and reconciliation to ensure data flows accurately into GetPaid and Oracle.
  • Investigate and resolve system configuration, bank data transmission, and cash application issues, escalating complex issues to the appropriate internal teams or external vendors.
  • Support the transition of newly implemented processes into business-as-usual operations, ensuring process documentation, controls, and operational handover requirements are completed.
  • Own day-to-day APAC cash application activities, ensuring timely and accurate allocation of incoming multi-currency payments to the appropriate customer accounts and invoices, also load payments received into The Trade Desk’s platform.
  • Investigate and resolve unapplied, unidentified, and incorrectly allocated receipts, working with Collectors and relevant Finance teams when necessary.
  • Monitor APAC remittance advice inboxes, follow up with Collectors and relevant stakeholders for missing remittance information, and ensure payments are applied promptly.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of bank receipts, remittance advice, customer correspondence, and cash application activities in Oracle and GetPaid.
  • Prepare and maintain daily cash reports and other operational reports and liaise with Cash Application team in London and Ventura to support cash visibility, reconciliation, and reporting requirements.
  • Perform daily and weekly reconciliations between the bank, GetPaid, Oracle reports, and review foreign exchange gain/loss report on a weekly basis.
  • Process credit memos for bank charges, withholding tax deductions, balance write offs, and account adjustments.
  • Ensure all cash allocation month-end processes are completed by due dates (sometimes falling on weekends), working closely with the Revenue, Billing, and GL teams to apply intercompany transactions or un-apply payments for credit and rebill.
  • Respond to SOX and external auditors’ requests on time and when required.
