Realize your potential by joining the leading performance-driven advertising company!
As a Revenue Operations Director on the Corporate Finance team in our Tel Aviv Office, you'll play a key role in owning Taboola's monthly and quarterly global revenue close, the billing engine behind it, and the revenue data that underpins company KPIs and the results we report as a Nasdaq-listed company. You'll lead and mentor a team of Revenue and Billing Analysts, act as a strategic partner to Sales, Account Management, Legal, Business Applications, Accounting and FP&A, review special and non-standard contracts before they are signed, and rebuild how the function runs with an AI-native, automation-first approach, so that Taboola can scale its advertiser and publisher business with confidence.
To thrive in this role, you'll need
- 7-10+ years in revenue operations, billing or revenue accounting at a public or late-stage global tech company, including 3+ years leading and mentoring a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance; CPA or equivalent.
- Hands-on ownership of high-volume, usage-based billing and the monthly and quarterly revenue close across multiple entities and currencies, against strict deadlines.
- Strong US GAAP revenue recognition (ASC 606) and SOX knowledge, including reviewing non-standard contract terms and operating billing and revenue controls in a public company.
- Commercial judgment: able to turn revenue and billing data into insight on company KPIs and advise leadership on the revenue impact of pricing, deal structures and new products.
- An AI-native, automation-first mindset: you use AI tools daily, automate controls and reconciliations before adding manual review, and have redesigned processes with measurable cuts in close time and manual work.
- Deep NetSuite experience as the billing and revenue system of record, with Salesforce and BI tools, and proven ability to reconcile platform data to invoices and the general ledger.
- Strong partner to Sales, Account Management, Legal, Business Applications, FP&A and Accounting in a global matrix organization.
- Excellent English, written and verbal.
Bonus points if you have
- Experience in a marketplace or two-sided business model (customer revenue on one side, partner payments on the other) or with usage-based billing.
- Big 4 background with public company clients.
- Experience supporting earnings materials, SEC revenue disclosures or board reporting.
- SQL and hands-on experience building finance automations or AI agents that run in production.
- Experience with payment gateways, e-invoicing and VAT requirements across jurisdictions.
- Experience integrating acquired businesses into group billing, revenue systems and SOX controls.
How you'll make an impact
- Own the global revenue close: Run the monthly and quarterly revenue close end to end, from platform data to NetSuite and the general ledger, on time every period.
- Protect reported revenue and KPIs: Own the accuracy of revenue and gross profit data, from platform-to-ledger reconciliation and contract validation to the revenue views behind company KPIs.
- Make the function AI-native: Own the billing and revenue stack and its automation roadmap (AI-assisted reconciliations, exception-based review, auto-generated close and audit evidence), shortening the close every quarter.
- Review special contracts: Review non-standard and strategic contracts before signature for billing, revenue recognition and gross-versus-net implications, with Sales, Legal and Accounting.
- Controls and audit: Own the SOX controls over billing and revenue, support quarterly and year-end audits, and remediate findings.
- Inform decisions: Give leadership insight from revenue and billing data: trends by segment, geography and product, pricing and deal impacts, and early risk flags for the quarter.
- Lead and mentor the team: Manage, mentor and develop 2 to 3 Revenue and Billing Analysts: priorities, review standards, capacity planning and career growth.
- Scale with the business: Design billing, revenue data and control flows for new products, markets, pricing models and acquisitions before launch.
