About the team + role

We are building an elite team, applying frontier technologies to the world’s biggest financial problems. We’re looking for bold thinkers. Sharp problem-solvers. Builders who are wired to make an impact. Robinhood isn’t a place for complacency, it’s where ambitious people do the best work of their careers. We’re a high-performing, fast-moving team with ethics at the center of everything we do. Expectations are high, and so are the rewards.

The People team builds and grows the talent that powers our mission. Our People Partners advise leaders on team structure, talent decisions and organizational change.

As a People Partner (what we call HRBPs), you'll serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders across our Tech and GM organizations, helping them build high-performing teams and navigate complex business and organizational challenges. You'll partner closely with business leaders and our People Centers of Excellence (COEs) to shape talent strategies, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and drive the decisions that help Robinhood grow.

This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

At Robinhood, we believe in the power of in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community. Our office experience is intentional, energizing, and designed to fully support high-performing teams.

What you’ll do

  • Advise senior executives on complex business and organizational challenges, offering sound judgment and a willingness to challenge conventional thinking.
  • Build people strategies that connect talent, organizational capabilities and business priorities
  • Shape organizational design and workforce planning so teams are structured to meet their goals
  • Drive our high performance-culture through talent assessments, performance calibration, succession planning and plans to close capability gaps
  • Coach senior leaders to strengthen their leadership, make difficult decisions and lead teams through change
  • Lead organizational changes and joint initiatives with business leaders and People COEs, delivering solutions that scale across teams
  • Build AI-powered tools that simplify People processes, drive efficiency, and enable better decisions
  • Use people data and business insights to spot challenges early, influence decisions and recommend solutions

What you bring

  • 8+ years of HR experience, including 6+ years as an HRBP partnering with senior executives, ideally in technology or high-growth companies
  • Deep expertise in organizational design, talent management, performance management and change management
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders, share differing views constructively, and earn trust through sound judgment
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, adjust to changing priorities and solve complex problems independently
  • Strong ownership and follow-through, balancing big-picture thinking with hands-on problem-solving
  • Ability to turn people data and business insights into clear recommendations
  • Curiosity and hands-on interest in experimenting with AI and emerging technologies to improve how work gets done (a plus)

What we offer

  • Challenging, high-impact work to grow your career.
  • Performance driven compensation with multipliers for outsized impact, bonus programs, equity ownership, and 401(k) matching.
  • Top Tier benefits to fuel your work, including 100% paid health insurance for employees with 90% coverage for dependents.
