The Opportunity

Lead RevMed's global tax function, owning strategy, operating model, governance, and execution across planning, financial reporting, compliance, and audits.

Align tax priorities with long-term corporate strategy, supporting OUS commercial readiness, international expansion, and sustainable growth while protecting financial position and reputation.

Act as trusted advisor to senior leadership: translate complex tax matters into clear business choices and anticipate risks and opportunities.

Build a scalable tax organization and develop leaders, partnering with Finance, Legal, and the business while staying hands-on in critical judgments and execution.

The role reports to Vice President of Finance and will represent Tax in front of the Audit Committee and senior executives.

Responsibilities

Global Tax Strategy and Enterprise Partnership

Set and own the global tax strategy and multiyear roadmap, aligning priorities, investment, and outcomes with corporate goals, capital needs, and growth.

Advise senior leadership on tax implications of strategic decisions (cash taxes, financial reporting, feasibility, compliance, reputation); escalate significant exposures to senior executives and, as appropriate, the Audit Committee.

Lead tax planning for corporate structure, financing, IP, licensing, collaborations, and transactions; partner with Legal, Treasury, Business Development, and Finance on diligence, structuring, and implementation.

Anticipate global tax changes, assess enterprise impact, and lead coordinated responses; establish tax policies, decision rights, and escalation thresholds.

International Expansion and Transfer Pricing

Own tax strategy and readiness for new markets with Global Finance and Legal (entity structures, registrations, operating models, transition to local support).

Lead global transfer pricing policy, intercompany pricing, documentation, and governance, aligned with business substance, IP, supply chain, and local requirements.

Partner with Commercial, Supply Chain, Treasury, and others on income tax, indirect tax, tariffs, withholding, and permanent establishment issues in cross-border operations.

Tax Accounting and Financial Reporting

Own quality, accuracy, and timeliness of global quarterly and annual provisions under US GAAP, including ASC 740 judgments, deferred taxes, valuation allowances, uncertain tax positions, and disclosures.

Oversee the Integration of tax into the close, forecasts, long-range plans, and cash planning with Corporate Accounting, SEC Reporting, FP&A, and Treasury; explain effective tax rate drivers and material changes.

Ultimate owner of tax accounting policies, documentation, and SOX controls; lead external auditor engagement on significant positions and resolve complex reporting matters.

Compliance, Risk Management, and Tax Audits

Oversee global tax team that manages global compliance across US federal, state, and international obligations; define responsibilities with Payroll, Legal, local Finance, Supply Chain and service providers.

Maximize tax attributes and incentives (R&D credits, NOLs).

Lead audits, inquiries, and disputes; represent RevMed with tax authorities and advisors, guide resolution strategy, and escalate significant matters through governance.
