In this role, you will

  • Management, coordination, motivation and guidance for the French SAR Delegate Team.
  • Participate in people management tasks (incl. interview processes and development of team members).
  • Design, write and implement the working framework (incl. procedures and processes) for the 2nd LoD French SAR Delegate Team, including setting a working standard and clear instructions for documenting MLRO review cases and SAR approvals in a clear and uniform manner.
  • Act as SPOC for AFCO SMEs with regard to the SAR review and investigation review process.
  • Active management and ownership of the BAU MLRO queues.
  • Provide ongoing and ad-hoc support on AML and CTF queries (both from internal and external stakeholders).
  • Assist the French MLRO and (co-)decision-taking in the following areas: SAR, RFI, PEP, EDD and CRR.
  • Assist with the identification, evaluation, monitoring and mitigation of operational risks with respect to AML and CTF processes and proactively suggest improvements.
  • Support the French MLRO in steering AML and CTF BAU requirements and regulatory imposed projects.
  • Support the French MLRO in reporting to the Management Board, Supervisory Board and national competent authorities.
  • Ensure strategic cohesion of AFC strategy with N26 strategy.
  • Support the business to understand and address AML and CTF risk.
  • Devise and review relevant training to AFCO, business and its partners.
  • Review Marketing materials to ensure compliance with AML and CTF requirements.

What you need to be successful:

Background:

  • Graduated in law (Ecole de droit/Master II) or from a Grande Ecole - or alike.

  • Proven experience in operational functions, including investigation, and SAR drafting but also transaction monitoring, sanctions and adverse media screening
