Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and support complex integration solutions using C#, .NET, REST APIs, XML, JSON, Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL and related technologies, including database interactions, XML and JSON transformations, and deployment processes.
- Analyze business and technical requirements, and translate them into scalable, secure and maintainable integration designs, APIs, data mappings, validations and configurations.
- Lead technical analysis and solution design for complex integrations across internal applications, databases, client systems and third-party platforms.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, and the QA, DevOps, Support and client-facing teams to define requirements, resolve dependencies and deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Ensure high standards of code quality, security, performance, reliability, testability and maintainability through code reviews, testing, root-cause analysis and engineering best practices.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues across applications, APIs, databases, configurations, deployments and external system integrations.
- Drive reusable integration patterns, common services, monitoring, logging, error-handling strategies and continuous improvement initiatives that improve platform scalability and operational efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, architectural discussions, mentoring, knowledge sharing and guidance to engineering teams.
- Support Agile delivery activities, including estimation, sprint planning, release management, CI/CD processes and production readiness.
- Identify design, quality, delivery and operational risks proactively. Communicate technical solutions, risks, dependencies and recommendations to technical and nontechnical stakeholders while balancing customer needs with long-term platform sustainability.
- Provide occasional off-hours or weekend support for critical production issues, deployments and business-critical activities, as needed.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of software development experience delivering testable code and supporting operationalization as needed, with expertise in code reviews, configurability, source-code management, release practices and production support
- 6+ years of hands-on software development experience using C#, .NET and ASP.NET MVC
- Advanced proficiency in C# and .NET, including object-oriented programming, application services, controllers, models, asynchronous programming and common .NET engineering practices
- Strong self-starter with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to engage directly with clients, understand business needs, and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Strong understanding of SOLID principles, common design patterns, modular development, microservice architecture and reusable software design
- Advanced experience designing and consuming REST APIs, including authentication, authorization, validation, versioning, security and resilient error handling
- Strong experience with XML, JSON, Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL and Postman for enterprise integration development and troubleshooting
- Solid experience with Git and Azure DevOps, including repositories, builds, CI/CD pipelines, releases, deployments and work-item management
- Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills across logs, APIs, payloads, databases, configuration, application code, pipelines and deployment behavior
- Experience with NUnit, xUnit or MSTest, and a strong understanding of test coverage and testable design
- Understanding of application security, sensitive-data handling, logging, monitoring, reliability and configuration-management principles
