Director of Marketing Operations

Location: London

Office requirement: Minimum 2 days in the office

Employment type: Permanent

At GWI we’re always looking for extraordinary people who thrive on making an extraordinary impact. Right now we’re looking for a Director of Marketing Operations to oversee the Marketing Ops team based in London. If that’s you, and making a difference gets you out of bed in the morning, keep reading. It could be the start of something, well, extraordinary.

As our Director of Marketing Operations you’ll:

Lead the people that are the engine that improves the efficiency and performance of our Growth Marketing team. Marketing Ops at GWI is a growth engine, not a service function. Reporting to the VP Growth Marketing and as a member of our Marketing Leadership team, you’ll have real influence and be expected to identify and drive initiatives that have an impact on pipeline and revenue.

A few things you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading and mentoring two direct reports. You’ll own the prioritisation and delivery of the MOps roadmap, ensuring your team are working on the highest impact projects.
  • Ownership of our entire marketing tech stack, including assessing new tech, budget ownership, vendor management, and rationalising the stack when necessary.
  • The lead and account lifecycle. You will be responsible for lead and account scoring and ensuring actionable intent signals are surfaced to Sales.
  • Data governance and quality in all tooling. You’ll work closely with RevOps to ensure data is syncing seamlessly in Salesforce and Hubspot.
  • Define and govern our campaign infrastructure and attribution reporting. You’ll be responsible for our measurement methodology and ensuring we have a clear source of truth for performance
  • Collaborating with, global marketing, revenue, product and RevOps to improve GTM operations
  • Advising the Marketing & Revenue leadership on GTM efficiency, investment trade-offs, and improvements to our operating model
  • Identifying and implementing automations that measurably reduce manual work or improve conversion

What do I need to bring with me?

  • You are comfortable managing a modern marketing tech stack. You’ll need deep expertise in Hubspot, Salesforce and Clay and understand how to connect those tools into a broader stack including Claude, Intercom, Qualified, GA, paid media channels, SEO/GEO tooling etc.
  • You are a technical leader with demonstrable experience using AI to deliver meaningful outcomes in a team environment.
  • You have a continuous improvement mindset. You proactively assess the effectiveness of current processes, propose, and implement improvements.
  • You have a strong sense of ownership and can connect the dots across departments, bring people together to solve problems, and communicate the impact of activity.
  • You can lead and build a team. You have people-management experience and can quickly bring clarity and direction to a team that is new to the business, setting priorities and helping them do their best work from day one.
  • You lead beyond your direct reports. You act as the marketing subject-matter expert for the wider business, influencing and bringing together teams across Marketing, Revenue, Product and RevOps, even where you have no formal authority.
  • You think account-first. You understand account-based models and can lead the shift from lead-focused to account-focused marketing, shaping the scorecard, reporting and activation that go with it. Experience in an enterprise-focused business is a plus.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Diversity is fundamental to who we are—as a data company and as a workplace. Our data reflects global realities, and so must our teams. We strive to build a workforce as diverse and inclusive as the insights we deliver.

As a Disability Confident employer, we welcome applications from disabled candidates and are committed to making adjustments throughout the hiring process—whether that's extra time, materials in advance or a different format, breaks, an adjusted interview format, assistive tools, or flexible scheduling. We're happy to discuss whatever would work best for you.
