About the Position

We’re looking for a Frontend AI Engineer to shape and build the user experience of G-P Gia. You’ll turn complex global business tasks into clear, intuitive workflows and help define how customers interact with AI throughout their work.

You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and AI/ML engineers to explore ideas, prototype interactions, and bring features into production. You’ll help shape how those features should work and own the frontend implementation, bringing the same care to application architecture as to the visual and interaction details of the finished product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with product managers and designers to understand user needs, explore solutions, and use prototypes to test and refine ideas.
  • Own frontend features in React and TypeScript from initial concept through implementation, release, and iteration.
  • Build interfaces that let users review, edit, and act on AI-generated work, with clear feedback and control throughout the workflow.
  • Make frontend architecture decisions that keep components, application state, and data flows maintainable as the product grows.
  • Develop reusable components and interaction patterns that improve consistency across the application.
  • Collaborate with backend and AI/ML engineers to shape API contracts and integrate services into the frontend.
  • Build accessible, well-tested interfaces and use performance profiling, production insights, and customer feedback to improve responsiveness, reliability, and usability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A track record of owning and shipping substantial frontend features, with clear examples of the engineering and design decisions behind them.
  • Strong React and TypeScript skills, supported by solid JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and browser fundamentals.
  • Strong judgment in interaction design, visual hierarchy, and usability, with experience shaping and refining interfaces alongside product designers.
  • Experience turning complex or loosely defined requirements into coherent user flows and working applications.
  • Experience building and shipping AI-powered product features through LLM APIs or supporting backend services, with an understanding of how model behavior and latency affect the user experience.
  • Strong understanding of component architecture, state management, and asynchronous data flows, with practical experience testing, debugging, and improving frontend performance.
  • Clear communication and the ability to explain tradeoffs, incorporate feedback, and balance delivery speed with quality.
