ROLE SUMMARY

The Data Centre Technician – Operational Readiness is part of a Singapore-based Operations team that helps new Firmus AI Factory sites prepare for Day 2 operations. The role combines hands-on field service support, commissioning assistance from an Operations perspective, and practical training of local teams to safely operate, maintain and respond to issues at live sites.

The successful candidate will train at established Australian and Singapore sites before transitioning to support our large-scale Batam and other new sites. They will also develop first-line compute and systems support skills alongside Site Reliability Teams, and core engineering teams. This Operational Readiness Field Service Technician presents a valuable opportunity to gain immediate, first-hand experience in the deployment, setup, and commissioning of the latest GPU technologies. With exposure to projects across Australia and Southeast Asia, the role offers significant opportunities for hands-on technical learning, regional collaboration, and knowledge transfer.
