Customer Success Associate - Mexico City (Hybrid)
Clara is the leading platform in Latin America for companies to execute and manage every payment operation. More than 50,000 leading and fast-growing businesses run on our corporate cards, bill pay, financing and B2B payments, and in 2025 the Financial Times named Clara the region’s fastest-growing company. We’re passionate about helping every company we work with become more effective—and, through that, raising the region’s competitiveness. We’re ~400 people, backed by Notable Capital, Coatue, Kaszek, monashees, DST Global, ICONIQ, General Catalyst and Goldman Sachs, among others.
What you'll do
We're looking for a Customer Success Associate to join Clara's Mexico team and help accelerate revenue growth across our customer portfolio.
This is more than a traditional customer relationship management role. We're looking for a commercially driven, analytical, and proactive professional who can translate customer data into actionable growth opportunities, drive product adoption, and maximize the value customers generate through Clara's financial solutions.
You'll own a portfolio of customers, identify opportunities to protect and expand revenue, and execute strategies that drive measurable business impact.
At Clara, we believe the future of Customer Success combines commercial ownership, data-driven decision-making, technology, and meaningful customer engagement. Our goal is to spend less time on repetitive operational tasks and more time creating value for our customers.
Your key responsibilities will include
- Drive revenue growth: Identify and execute upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities across your customer portfolio, with clear ownership of revenue targets and commercial outcomes.
- Maximize product adoption: Increase customer engagement and usage of Clara's financial solutions, including corporate cards, supplier payments, international payments, and SaaS plans.
- Protect existing revenue: Proactively identify declining transaction volumes, inactive customers, and revenue risks, developing actionable recovery and retention strategies.
- Turn data into action: Analyze customer spending patterns, historical performance, product penetration, and revenue potential to prioritize high-impact commercial opportunities.
- Execute consultative conversations: Understand customer needs, uncover growth opportunities, build compelling financial proposals, and move negotiations toward successful outcomes.
- Leverage AI and automation: Use data platforms, CRM tools, and AI-powered workflows to improve prioritization, campaign execution, and portfolio productivity.
- Own commercial execution: Maintain a structured pipeline of opportunities, track progress against revenue targets, and ensure consistent follow-through from identification to implementation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Sales, Product, Operations, and Marketing to accelerate customer adoption, resolve growth blockers, and improve the overall customer experience.
Who you are
We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

- Analytical skills, with the ability to interpret customer performance, transaction data, and commercial KPIs to make informed decisions.
- Experience managing a portfolio of B2B customers and prioritizing opportunities based on business impact.
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms and the discipline to maintain an accurate and actionable commercial pipeline.
