ABOUT THE TEAM

The Manufacturing Production team is responsible for a wide range of activities that are crucial to the manufacturing process including operating equipment, assembling products, performing quality control checks, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The Manufacturing Training and Development team plays a critical role in equipping employees with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to excel in their roles. They design, develop, and deliver training programs that enhance technical proficiency, ensure compliance, and support career growth within the organization. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a growing training function while enhancing our employee’s training experiences.

ABOUT THE JOB

We're building the future of defense manufacturing — and that starts with how we develop our leaders. The Leadership Development Designer & Facilitator (Manufacturing) will own the design, development, and delivery of leadership training content and programs across all our manufacturing sites. This role connects leadership development strategy to on-the-ground execution, ensuring our production leaders are equipped with practical, floor-ready skills through well-designed, high-quality training content and experiences. The ideal candidate is someone who understands what leadership looks like in a manufacturing environment — running shift huddles, coaching technicians, managing to takt and safety, and holding standards under production pressure — and who can build and deliver training that reflects that reality. You will be responsible for designing and developing training content, directly facilitating programs, and continuously improving program quality, with a particular focus on partnering with Manufacturing Optimization to support the Anduril Production System.

A successful candidate will be expected to work out of Columbus, OH. Based on eligibility, relocation assistance may be available. At times, travel up to 50% may be required for training, cross-site collaboration, or supporting continuous improvement initiatives at other Anduril facilities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design & Develop Leadership Content: Own the creation and adaptation of leadership development content, modules, and experiential learning activities specifically tailored for production and manufacturing leaders. This includes defining learning objectives, curriculum structure, and delivery methods in alignment with overall program strategy.
  • Facilitate & Deliver High-Impact Training: Directly facilitate engaging and effective leadership development programs for diverse cohorts of production and manufacturing leaders, fostering critical thinking and practical application.
  • Coordinate Program Delivery: Work with internal L&D team members to execute the logistics behind each program — scheduling, participant assignment and completion tracking, materials preparation, and LMS administration. Provide clear direction on what's needed and by when, and confirm sessions are set up to run smoothly across sites.
  • Ground Content in Manufacturing Reality: Spend time on the production floor to observe how leaders operate, and translate those observations into scenarios, case studies, and practice activities that reflect real shift-level challenges rather than generic leadership examples.
