Product Marketing Manager
Product Marketing Manager
Alarm.com — Tysons, VA
Alarm.com is looking for a Product Marketing Manager who can move between product, sales, and market strategy. This is a B2B2C role: you'll develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for Alarm.com products, working across a channel serving both commercial and residential customers. You'll need to understand the market landscape in which our partners and their customers operate, translate complex technology into clear, understandable value, and build the tools that help our sales and partners win.
What You'll Do
- Lead go-to-market strategy and execution for key product lines and new product launches across residential and commercial business units
- Develop product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement assets that clearly communicate differentiated value to partner and end-user audiences
- Serve as the internal advocate for customer and partner needs, gathering feedback from partner-facing and end-user-facing teams to inform product development and roadmap priorities.
- Translate market intelligence, buyer insights, and competitive research into sales tools, executive content, and market-facing materials
- Build and maintain launch assets including market briefs, sales playbooks, competitive analyses, and training materials
- Coordinate across teams on launch timelines, milestone ownership, and delivery dates
- Develop insights from data that shape product and marketing strategy
What You Bring
- 2–4 years of product marketing experience, or marketing experience in a technology-focused role
- Demonstrated ability to craft compelling positioning, messaging, and content
- Comfort working in a B2B2C or channel-driven business model. You understand that your audience isn't always the end user.
- Ability to understand technical product specifications and translate them into meaningful benefits for different audiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; you can write for a sales rep and a C-suite executive in the same week
- Genuine interest in IoT, SaaS, and connected technology markets
- Ability to manage projects independently from start to finish
- Bachelor's degree required; focus in business, engineering, or a related field is a plus
Please note that sponsorship of new applicants for employment authorization, or any other immigration-related support, is not available for this position at this time.
