Our experienced teams design and deliver complex front-office technology solutions using our proven accelerators to create long-term competitive advantage.

We are now looking for a Project Manager to join our London team on a new exciting project !

If you feel like this is you, you might be a perfect fit for this role!

YOU ARE

  • Credible and trusted by clients, with a strong consulting presence.
  • Confident to reason, debate and push back when needed, advocating for and protecting your team.
  • A senior delivery professional with a strong background in software delivery and software service delivery.
  • Highly experienced in Agile, including the end-to-end Agile delivery process, and confident challenging it where it isn’t working.
  • Skilled in creating and maintaining clear documentation, including setting up wikis for highly bespoke software.

AS A PM YOU WILL ENSURE THAT

  • Adaptive’s standard PM practices are combined with the programme-level planning, governance and release discipline used across the Accelerator teams.
  • Productisation and client delivery move forward together, with the roadmap turned into executable plans.
  • The team has a clear, prioritised plan covering product roadmap, client commitments, releases and dependencies.
  • Engineering, BA, QA, SRE, Product, Consulting and Client Delivery understand their responsibilities and can work without avoidable blockers.
  • Stakeholders receive accurate, timely information on progress, risk, scope, cost and decisions.
  • Releases are planned, tested, documented and communicated with clear go/no-go ownership.
  • Product and client feedback is converted into structured backlog items, roadmap decisions and reusable product knowledge.
  • Adaptive can forecast delivery capacity, revenue, margin and risk with confidence.

YOU WILL

Manage the project

  • Own and maintain an integrated delivery plan and prioritised backlog connecting product outcomes, client milestones, resourcing, and dependencies.
  • Proactively identify, track, and mitigate cross-team dependencies and RAID items across technical, operational, and commercial domains.
  • Provide regular status reporting, burndown tracking, and actionable options to address slippage or scope changes.
  • Manage the sprint and release cadence, overseeing scope cut-offs, go/no-go readiness, non-functional requirements, and support handover.
  • Protect product quality and release confidence by ensuring thorough testing, operational readiness, and transparent blocker triage.

Manage a team

  • Coordinate distributed teams and regional leads, address capacity or capability gaps, and support onboarding.
  • Drive continuous improvement via retrospectives, servant leadership, and resolving recurring challenges.
  • Empower team decision-making while expanding domain, delivery, and product expertise.
  • Foster a collaborative, psychologically safe environment across regions, roles, and workflows.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, QA, BA, SRE, Product, and Client Delivery while ensuring accountability.

Manage people

  • Hold routine 1:1s to discuss feedback, well-being, growth, and performance alignment.
  • Set clear goals and standards, monitor progress, and provide timely guidance.
  • Recognise high impact and provide objective input for performance, promotion, and compensation reviews.
  • Resolve performance issues or friction fairly, escalating to People Ops or leadership when necessary.

Manage resourcing

  • Establish risk mitigation strategies and succession plans for key roles, governance, and client relationships.

Manage client & stakeholders

  • Lead client delivery governance, maintaining transparent records of scope, decisions, assumptions, and contractual commitments.
