Who you'll be

The Development Operations Lead (KMP - Key Management Personnel) is responsible for providing executive oversight and leadership for all development operations, including design, prototyping, testing, maintenance, and continuous integration/delivery. The role requires a strategic approach to ensure smooth and efficient operations that align with organizational objectives. This position also oversees system setup, ongoing support, and quality assurance measures to maintain high standards in software development and deployment processes.

What you'll do

Development Operations Oversight; Support the conceptual design, development, prototyping, testing, and maintenance of software and systems.
Oversee continuous integration, delivery, and installation processes.
Ensure quality assurance measures are implemented and adhered to across all projects.
System Setup and Support: Perform basic system setup and ongoing support of systems.
Ensure operational stability and reliability of development environments.
Collaboration and Team Leadership: Provide executive leadership to the Quality Assurance & Standards team, Database Team, and Software Development Team.
Work closely with the Quality Assurance Lead, Solution Architect, Database Administrators, and Software Engineers (Lead and Developers).
Align team efforts with organizational goals and ensure effective communication across teams.
Process Improvement and Innovation: Drive the implementation of best practices in software development and operations.
Foster innovation by assessing current technologies and exploring future roadmaps for development.
Facilitate the adoption of new tools and technologies to improve productivity and efficiency.

What you'll need

Strong experience in software development, testing, maintenance, and deployment processes.
Expertise in leading cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Database, and Development teams.
Proficiency in continuous integration and delivery practices.
Experience with system setup, monitoring, and support. Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to assess and implement future-focused development strategies.
Proficiency in modern development tools, languages, and frameworks.

Active Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
