Vultr is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Analyst to efficiently manage and assess sensitive account details, including but not limited to credit card fraud, account takeovers, and chargebacks. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with excellent communication and analytical skills, capable of proactively contributing to team discussions and identifying fraudulent and suspicious account activities. This is a highly visible role in a high-growth technology company, which will require you to help maintain a seamless user sign-up process, protect our business from potential risks, and recommend workflow improvements. This is your opportunity to join our fast growing team and leave your mark on Constant and the future of Cloud Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to and analyze a high volume of risk-related tickets promptly and professionally through written communication, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.

Investigate and assess account activity related to credit card fraud, account takeovers, disputes, and chargebacks to maintain the integrity of the platform.

Identify and escalate complex or suspicious account activity to the appropriate team for further investigation.

Document and track risk-related tickets in the ticketing system, ensuring necessary details are logged.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of company risk protocols, policies, and services across fraud, abuse, and account verification workflows to provide accurate guidance to customers and teammates.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve risk-related issues.

Stay current with emerging fraud trends and tactics, identify patterns, and share findings with the team to strengthen detection and prevention strategies.

Assess operational workflows and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency in fraud detection processes.

Mentor and support the professional development of junior Account Analysts, sharing knowledge and expertise to foster growth within the team.

Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to provide risk-related information and general assistance to customers and teammates.

Ability to manage a high caseload of risk investigations simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and consistency in decision-making.

Sound discretion and independent judgment in assessing and resolving complex risk-related issues.

3+ years of experience in fraud investigation, account risk, or trust & safety operations, working independently to resolve complex tickets.

Demonstrated ability to identify fraud trends and recommend workflow improvements.

Experience mentoring or providing guidance to junior analysts, with sound judgment on when to escalate versus resolve independently.

Strong analytical judgment with a bias toward evidence-based decisions over reactive account actions.

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to support 24/7 fraud and risk coverage.
