UTA Advisory Marketing seeks a Director to join our growing team, with responsibilities split equally between Coach and Campari. This role will lead talent strategy, talent buying, and entertainment-driven campaigns for two high-profile, blue-chip brand clients, with an emphasis on A-list celebrity partnerships and broader cultural opportunities.

The ideal candidate combines strategic brand thinking with hands-on execution, has strong relationships across the entertainment and cultural landscape, and can independently lead complex campaigns from concept through delivery. They are digitally savvy, deeply engaged with current culture and online trends, and proactive in identifying opportunities that build brand relevance.

This role will work closely with two senior leaders across the client accounts. New York-based candidates are strongly preferred.

UTA Advisory Marketing - a division of leading global talent and entertainment company United Talent Agency - is a top entertainment marketing agency advising some of the world’s biggest brands. Our team of passionate marketers and experts leverages entertainment to create and execute initiatives including talent procurement, film and television integrations, studio and network co-marketing, promotional partnerships, content strategy, business acceleration, and more.

The salary range for this role is $150,000 to $160,000, commensurate with experience and skills.

What You Will Do

Serve as the day-to-day strategic and executional lead across Coach and Campari, with an approximately 50/50 allocation of responsibilities

Lead talent strategy and buying, prioritizing A-list celebrities and culturally relevant partnerships rather than standard influencer-led programs

Develop strategic entertainment and cultural marketing recommendations that connect brand objectives with talent, content, and partnership opportunities

Leverage existing relationships with talent representatives, entertainment partners, and cultural tastemakers to identify and secure high-impact opportunities

Lead talent negotiations and partnership management, including deal structuring, contract redlines, and direct communication with representatives and legal teams

Oversee end-to-end talent campaigns, from strategy and creative development through production, content delivery, activation, and results review

Integrate talent partnerships with content strategy and product placement to create cohesive, brand-relevant campaigns

Collaborate with internal teams to identify and vet celebrity, creator, entertainment, and cultural partnership opportunities aligned with campaign objectives

Manage timelines, budgets, deliverables, production logistics, and internal and external communications across multiple workstreams

Build and present compelling decks that clearly articulate strategic recommendations, creative concepts, talent choices, and activation plans

Maintain a deep understanding of entertainment, digital culture, emerging online trends, and competitive activity to inform client recommendations

Lead weekly client calls and meetings, establish agendas, manage follow-ups, and ensure accountability

Guide junior team members and oversee project execution while contributing to process improvement, knowledge sharing, and a collaborative team culture

Travel as needed for client activations, talent shoots, media days, and live events

What You Will Need

5+ years of relevant experience in talent buying, entertainment marketing, or strategic brand partnerships, with a proven track record of director-level responsibility

Demonstrated experience leading talent partnerships and campaigns for high-profile, blue-chip consumer brands

Significant hands-on experience securing and managing A-list celebrity partnerships, including negotiations, contract management, and production logistics

Strong existing relationships across the entertainment and cultural ecosystem, including talent representatives and relevant partnership contacts

Strategic brand experience that extends beyond talent representation or transactional booking, with the ability to connect talent decisions to business and marketing objectives
