About the Role

Join a cybersecurity solutions engineering team supporting digital native and mid-market customers. You will bring deep engineering expertise to technical sales cycles, helping organizations integrate application security into their development workflows.

What You'll Do

Become an expert in the application security platform and help customers integrate it into CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, and AppSec programs.

Lead technical discovery, diagnose customer issues, and advise on solution design.

Own proof-of-value cycles from success criteria and environment configuration through technical outcomes.

Write or adapt security rules to identify vulnerabilities and demonstrate product capabilities.

Explain technical differentiation to security engineers, DevOps teams, and executives.

Improve demos, automation, and educational content to reduce customer friction.

Partner with account executives on complex sales cycles and contribute to team processes and enablement.

Travel up to 20% for customer meetings, events, conferences, and company events.

What We're Looking For

Two to five years of pre-sales engineering experience in enterprise SaaS, ideally in security or adjacent developer tooling.

Experience selling complex technical products in large organizations, such as AppSec, DevOps, CI/CD, or monitoring solutions.

A computer science degree, prior software engineering experience, and strong technical fundamentals.

Understanding of developer workflows and build systems, including CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, CircleCI, Jenkins, or Buildkite.

Strong communication skills and experience engaging security engineers, DevOps teams, and technical leaders.

Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder. Applicants must be currently employed outside freelance, independent contractor, contract, or fractional roles, or not currently working.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $147,000 to $175,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

Remote within the United States, with customer coverage on either the West Coast or East Coast.
