Introducing the Trainline Marketing Team 👋

Trainline’s Marketing team is at the heart of how millions of people across Europe discover, choose, and connect with the brand. From brand storytelling to performance media, we work across markets to build a brand that is relevant, trusted, and unmistakably Trainline. Our campaigns run across the UK, France, Italy, and Spain, and everything we do is rooted in driving genuine awareness and long-term brand love.

This role sits within the Brand Media function and is central to how we bring our brand to life at scale in digital channels. You will work closely with local market teams, creative colleagues, media agencies, and platform partners - acting as the operational engine that connects global brand strategy to brilliant, well-executed campaigns across YouTube, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and beyond.

In this role as the Brand Paid Media Manager, you will... 🚄

Lead the end-to-end setup, execution, and daily optimisation of upper- and mid-funnel brand campaigns across YouTube, Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat in the UK, France, Italy, and Spain, ensuring every campaign is delivered on time, on budget, and on brand

Own day-to-day campaign management across trafficking, targeting, pacing, and reporting, maintaining rigorous QA checks on creatives, naming conventions, and tracking ahead of every launch

Translate global brand strategy into clear, executable digital campaigns, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints while adapting intelligently to platform best practices and formats

Partner with creative teams to ensure assets are fit for purpose across platforms, and collaborate with media agencies and the in-house performance team to ensure strategic alignment across the funnel

Build and maintain strong relationships with media owners including Meta, TikTok, and Google, staying current on platform developments, new inventory, and emerging opportunities

Proactively identify new channels, formats, and testing opportunities, bringing a test-and-learn mindset to continuously improve brand impact

Recommend and oversee in-platform brand lift studies, analyse results, and translate campaign data into clear, actionable recommendations for brand, media, and market teams

Communicate performance, risks, and opportunities clearly to stakeholders, acting as a dependable bridge between global brand strategy and local market execution

We’d love to hear from you if you have... 🔍

Solid hands-on experience managing paid social and digital brand campaigns, with strong working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Snapchat Ads Manager, and Google Ads (YouTube) including live campaign optimisation

A strong grasp of upper- and mid-funnel brand-led media strategy and how to connect campaign activity to meaningful brand outcomes

Experience running campaigns across multiple international markets, with the ability to adapt execution to different audiences and contexts

Confidence working with campaign data, with advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills for analysis and reporting

Exceptional organisational skills and a high attention to detail, particularly around campaign setup, QA processes, and brand consistency
