Saronic Technologies is a leader in revolutionizing autonomy at sea, dedicated to developing state-of-the-art solutions that enhance maritime operations through autonomous and intelligent platforms.

Job Overview

When Saronic acquires a company, the IT Integration Manager will drive the shared identity through shared networks, shared security posture, shared procedures and support. This role owns that work end to end. You will travel to each newly acquired site, embed with the local team, assess what’s there, and drive the technical integration of infrastructure, networks, endpoints, identity, and security tooling into our standard environment.

This is a hands-on manager role, not a pure program-management role. You’ll be the senior IT presence on the ground, coordinating closely with the infrastructure, security, and help desk teams at HQ to ensure alignment across all IT functions. Business systems integration (ERP, CRM, HRIS, finance) is owned by a separate team, you’ll coordinate with them on dependencies like identity, SSO, and network access, but the systems themselves are out of your scope.

Responsibilities

Discovery and planning. Lead on-site technical discovery at each acquisition: inventory network topology and circuits, server and storage footprint, cloud tenants, identity providers, endpoint fleet and management tooling, security stack, licensing, vendor and MSP contracts, physical security and AV, and support processes. Produce a documented current-state assessment, risk register, and sequenced integration plan with effort estimates and cost impact.

Execution. Drive the technical work to standard: network redesign and cutover (LAN/WAN, wireless, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, circuit procurement and decommissioning), identity migration and tenant consolidation, endpoint re-imaging or enrollment into our MDM and management tooling, email and collaboration migration, server and workload migration or retirement, backup and DR alignment, and conference room and AV standardization.

Security and compliance. Bring acquired environments up to our security baseline- EDR deployment, MFA, patching and vulnerability management, logging into our SIEM, privileged access controls, and removal of legacy admin paths. Identify and remediate gaps against our compliance obligations (NIST 800-171 / CMMC, ITAR/export control handling, SOC 2 as applicable) and flag anything that needs legal or security escalation.

Support transition. Transition the acquired site from local provided support onto our help desk model: ticketing, asset management, onboarding/offboarding workflows, knowledge base content, and on-site support coverage. Where acquired IT staff join the company, help assess, onboard, and ramp them into our team structure.

Vendor and contract rationalization. Catalog inherited contracts, licenses, and MSP relationships; recommend what to consolidate, renegotiate, or terminate; and track realized savings.

Partnership with HQ. Work closely with HQ infrastructure, security, and business systems teams so field decisions match the long-term architecture and support execution sprints. Maintain a reusable integration playbook, runbooks, and checklists that get sharper with every deal, and report progress, risks, and blockers to IT and corporate development leadership.

Change management. Be the face of IT to employees at a company that has just been acquired. Communicate clearly, set expectations, run cutover comms, and minimize disruption during a period that is already unsettling for people.

Qualifications

7+ years in IT infrastructure and operations, with at least 2+ years leading or heavily contributing to M&A IT integrations, carve-outs, or multi-site consolidations (or similar related experience)

Genuine working depth, not just oversight, across networking (routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, VPN), identity (Active Directory, Entra ID/Azure AD, SSO, domain and tenant migration), endpoint management (Intune, Jamf, imaging, patching), virtualization and cloud infrastructure, and core security tooling (EDR, MFA, SIEM)
