Help shape the future of wealth technology at Netwealth

At Netwealth, we're building technology that helps advisers and investors achieve better financial outcomes. As we continue to grow, we're investing in our platforms, people and ways of working to create technology that's reliable, scalable and built for the future.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Engineer - Acurity to lead the design and delivery of application changes across our Acurity environment. This is an opportunity to combine deep Acurity technical expertise with meaningful influence, helping deliver regulatory, product and business initiatives that directly impact our customers while shaping how we build, run and improve technology.

What you'll be doing

You'll work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and operational partners to translate complex requirements into robust solutions. You'll take ownership from design through to delivery, while mentoring others and helping lift capability across the team.

Leading solution design and configuration within Acurity Registry

Translating business requirements into functional specifications and system configurations

Working with SQL and relational databases to manage and optimise registry data

Supporting integrations through APIs and web services

Troubleshooting complex issues and driving root-cause analysis

Maintaining clear technical documentation, process maps and configuration guides

Contributing to technical standards and continuous improvement initiatives

How we work at Netwealth

You'll be joining a technology organisation undergoing an exciting transformation, built around a simple idea: you build it, you run it. Teams have end-to-end ownership, the authority to make decisions, and accountability for the outcomes they deliver. Quality isn't owned by someone else, it's everyone's responsibility.

Our technology teams are focused on:

Experience first: solving real customer problems simply and effectively

Ownership with autonomy: making decisions close to the work

Quality built in: not tested in at the end

Continuous improvement: creating foundations that allow great work to compound over time

Using AI thoughtfully: embracing modern ways of working while maintaining trust, security and reliability

About you

You're someone who enjoys solving complex problems, building trusted relationships and continuously improving the way things work. You bring deep Acurity experience, strong technical capability and a collaborative mindset.

You'll ideally have:

Hands-on Acurity Registry configuration and architecture experience

Strong SQL and database management skills

Experience with REST APIs and system integrations

Business analysis and requirements gathering capability

Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills

The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders
