Then Jobber might be the place for you! We're looking for a Product Marketing Manager, Operations to be part of our Product department.
Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isn't like it used to be—the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. That's why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want!
Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada's Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail's Canada's Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada's Technology Fast 50™, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500™ lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, we've come a long way from our first customer in 2011—but we've just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers.
The team
Product Marketing sits within Jobber's Product organization, working alongside product teams to shape how our capabilities go to market and how customers adopt them. You'll join the Operations pillar, which covers the tools customers rely on every day to plan work, coordinate teams, connect the field and office, and understand how their business is performing. As these capabilities evolve, the team helps customers see how they fit together and why Jobber is worth their attention and investment.
The role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager, Operations will lead a defined Operations portfolio, owning positioning, go-to-market strategy and adoption from launch through ongoing learning. You'll start with the customer's business, workflows and challenges, then connect Jobber's capabilities into a clear story, from recognizing a need and choosing the right offering to realizing value through ongoing use. A big part of the challenge is reaching established and scaled businesses in a competitive market, many of which already use another solution, so we're looking for someone who brings creative, evidence-led recommendations on how to reach them, stand out and give them a compelling reason to switch. This is an individual contributor role, and you'll partner closely with your fellow Operations PMMs to connect your portfolio to the broader customer story and pricing and packaging strategy.
The Product Marketing Manager, Operations will
Build a deep understanding of how owners, office teams and field crews plan and complete work, combining customer conversations, competitive insight, win/loss feedback and product data to uncover unmet needs, switching barriers and adoption opportunities.
Craft differentiated stories around the customer journey, making the value tangible through product demos, customer proof and clear messaging from discovery through ongoing use.
Shape the offer by bringing customer needs, willingness to pay and competitive context into packaging and commercial discussions, and help buyers and customer-facing teams find the right offering for each business.
Own the GTM plan for your portfolio with Product and the commercial lead, from target customer and proposition to route to market and success measures, and coordinate readiness with Sales, Enablement, Demand Generation and Lifecycle Marketing.
Improve discovery and adoption beyond launch, partnering with Product, Lifecycle Marketing, Education and Customer Success to help customers get started, realize value and build lasting habits.
