About Isembard

Isembard is building a network of high-performance factories for critical industries. We combine advanced machine tools, robotics and our own software, MasonOS, to make precision components for aerospace, defense, energy and frontier technology companies, with factories across the US, UK, Germany and France. Our mission is to forge industrial acceleration.

The role

Our Dallas factory ships precision components into aerospace, defense and energy programs. The Quality Manager leads quality at the site: inspection, nonconformance and corrective action, and the systems that make sure every feature that matters is verified, documented and dispositioned without inspection becoming the bottleneck.

You will build and lead a growing site team of inspectors and CMM programmers, and work with Isembard's network quality leadership.

What you'll do

Lead day-to-day quality at the site, including inspection and the decision on whether parts ship.

Hire, coach and lead the Dallas quality team as it grows.

Keep inspection moving with production: plan capacity, set priorities and remove bottlenecks.

Run nonconformance, root cause and corrective action, and work with machining and engineering to fix causes at the source.

Maintain quality procedures and records to AS9100 standards, and support customer and certification audits.

What we're looking for

Experience leading quality in a precision machining or regulated manufacturing environment.

Working knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001.

Strong drawing and GD&T interpretation, and a practical command of inspection methods, including CMM and first article inspection (AS9102).

Hands-on root cause analysis and corrective action.

Experience building and coaching a team.

Nice to have

Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience.

Building a quality function at a new or fast-growing site.

SPC, measurement system analysis and capability studies.

ASQ certification such as CQE or CMQ/OE.

Why Isembard

Own quality at a growing factory and build the team behind it.

Work on parts for aerospace, defense and energy programs.

Medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off and parental leave, Wellhub gym and wellness membership, and a stocked kitchen at the factory.

Location: On-site at our Dallas-Fort Worth factory in Carrollton, TX.

Isembard is an equal opportunity employer.
