About us

Humaans is building the next generation of infrastructure for the workplace; software designed for companies that are scaling fast, operating globally, and pushing into new boundaries.

What started as a system of record has evolved into a broader platform for operating people globally. With Athena, our agentic AI layer, Humaans moves beyond data management into intelligent orchestration, connecting workflows across HR, IT, Finance, and Operations so organisations can act faster and with greater confidence, redefining how work gets done.

We work with ambitious teams across Europe and the US, from AI-native companies like Lovable, Poolside, Fyxer AI, and Tandem Health, to established, high-growth organisations scaling internationally and through acquisition, including Quantexa, Sellpy, Manychat, Gigs, Croud, and Threecolts. These teams don’t buy software for features, they buy leverage. The ability to run faster, cleaner, and with more control as complexity compounds.

To date, we’ve raised $20m in venture funding from some of the most respected founders, operators, and funds in technology: Lachy Groom (Physical Intelligence), Stewart Butterfield (Slack), Tobias Lütke (Shopify), Dylan Field (Figma), Jeff Weiner (LinkedIn), Claire Johnson (Stripe), Oliver Jay (OpenAI), Jay Simmons (Bond) as well as Y Combinator, Moonfire, Frontline Ventures, Pathlight Ventures, and Exor.

If you have massive ambition and want to work on a hard problem, with a small team that moves fast, at a moment when the category is genuinely up for grabs - this is it.

The role

We’re looking for someone to help build and scale our outbound sales motion and create meaningful conversations with the companies that could get the most value from Humaans.

You’ll play an important role in growing our pipeline: identifying the right companies, finding thoughtful ways to reach them, understanding their challenges and helping them discover how Humaans can make a difference. You’ll also be close to our customers and product, sharing what you learn to help us continuously improve how we build and sell Humaans.

What you’ll do

Build and prioritise target account lists aligned with our growth objectives

Develop and test strategies to improve our outbound sales engine

Identify, attract and engage potential customers across email, phone, social, chat and other channels

Build a deep understanding of Humaans, our customers and the problems we solve

Quickly assess mutual fit while creating a thoughtful and delightful experience for potential customers

Turn conversations into qualified opportunities and contribute to building a healthy sales pipeline

Capture insights from prospects and share them with our Product team to help us better understand and solve real customer problems

What we’re looking for

1–2 years of experience in sales or another customer-facing role, ideally within SaaS

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Strong listening skills and an ability to understand, empathise with and distil what people are telling you

A methodical and highly organised approach to your work

A natural inclination to solve problems and find better ways of doing things

High levels of motivation, ambition and resilience

A proactive and curious mindset, with a willingness to experiment and learn

A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working closely with people across the company

You may not be a great fit if

You prefer waiting for opportunities to come to you rather than proactively creating them

You’re easily discouraged by rejection or find the persistence required in outbound sales frustrating

You rely heavily on scripts rather than being curious, listening carefully and adapting your approach

You’re uncomfortable experimenting with new approaches and learning from what doesn’t work

You prefer working independently with limited collaboration or feedback

This is an in-person role. Our team comes together in the office Monday through Thursday, while most of the team collaborates in person on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
