We’re Heidi.

We're building the future of healthcare by giving every clinician the earth's finest AI Care Partner. In just 18 months, our clinical AI products have absorbed the administrative chaos of 73 million patient visits. Today, we support over 2.5 million patient sessions a week across 190+ countries.

Healthcare systems are failing us; clinicians spend more time on documentation than on patients, and the human connection that makes medicine worth practicing is eroding. Our mission is simple: double the world’s healthcare capacity and strengthen the human connection at its heart.

We found product-market fit with a freemium medical scribe that clinicians love. Now, we're expanding. Every task a clinician hands to Heidi is a patient who feels more attended to, a health system unclogged, and a clinician who gets to be a clinician again.

If you don’t choose easy and you want to build something way bigger than yourself then, choose the challenge, choose Heidi.

The role

This role leads execution of Heidi's Japan marketing strategy, translating global positioning into work that's credible, locally grounded, and commercially effective. It owns day-to-day marketing for the region, partnering closely with sales and regional leadership to generate pipeline through focused campaigns, consistent brand presence, and rigorous events and partnerships.

Working alongside global and local stakeholders, the role balances strategic planning with hands-on delivery. Every activity is grounded in evidence, shaped by the realities of Japanese healthcare, and held to a clear standard: reinforcing Heidi's position as a trusted partner to clinicians and the systems that support them.

What you’ll do

Execute Heidi's Japan marketing strategy in line with direction set by the global and local leadership, translating global positioning into locally credible campaigns

Act as the day-to-day marketing lead for Japan, working closely with sales and regional stakeholders to prioritise, sequence, and resource activity

Drive qualified pipeline by running regional campaigns across inbound and outbound channels, and supporting lead qualification, nurturing, and handover into sales

Build a consistent brand presence across the market, supporting PR, media, and thought leadership, and contributing to case studies, long-form content, and executive messaging

Plan and deliver regional events, conferences, and activations, including flagship moments and round tables, and work with partners, customers, and associations to extend Heidi's reach in Japan

Manage relationships with internal marketing resources and external agencies across PR, creative, and events, holding agency delivery to agreed briefs

Track campaign and event performance, share insights with regional and global teams, and flag risks or opportunities to the GTM leadership team

What you’ll need

5+ years of marketing experience in healthcare, health tech, or regulated B2B environments, though we care more about what you've shipped/built than years on the clock

An optimistic belief in software. You believe great products can transform someone's day

Fluent in Japanese with strong working English, and experience supporting enterprise or complex sales environments in Japan's healthcare or life sciences sector

Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-scaling organisation with limited support infrastructure

Passion for AI, shown through hands-on building, prototyping, or side projects

You default to building over requesting

You're confident in your thinking and open to being wrong. Great ideas win regardless of who surfaces them

How we show up

Build for the next decade, not next quarter. Our targets are outrageous on purpose. The world's health doesn't have the luxury of incrementalism.

Lead, don't wait. We treat tomorrow's problems today. Sometimes we build what's needed before it's wanted, and we're fine with that.

Follow the evidence. Trust the patient. We pursue truth relentlessly. But when the subjective and objective disagree, we treat the patient, not the numbers. Ego is a comorbidity we can't afford.
