Hadrian - Manufacturing the Future

Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America. By combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we help aerospace and defense companies build rockets, satellites, aircraft, ships, and other mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at significantly lower cost.

Following our $1.37B Series D at a $7.87B valuation, Hadrian is rapidly expanding our manufacturing footprint, launching new capabilities across welding, casting, forging, electronics, additive manufacturing, and more, while scaling our Factory-as-a-Service platform to transform how critical products are built.

Backed by leading investors including JPMorgan Chase, Valor Equity Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund, 137 Ventures, Lux Capital, T. Rowe Price, and Morgan Stanley, we’re building the future of American manufacturing—and looking for exceptional people to help make it happen.

If you’re ready to take on the most challenging and rewarding work of your career while helping create American manufacturing jobs for generations to come, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.

The Role

The Finance team at Hadrian drives both the strategic direction and the day-to-day execution of our advanced manufacturing mission. We work closely with every function, from Manufacturing Operations to Program Management and Automation, to build the company plan and deploy capital with discipline as we scale out our capabilities.

As a Program Finance Associate, you’ll own the economics of Hadrian’s newly contracted programs from contract signature through at-rate production. You’ll be the dedicated finance partner to the program leaders and engineers standing up each program. You’ll own its baseline budget and forecast, shape and monitor its spend, and maintain a live Estimate at Completion. By being hands-on in this role, you’ll have the opportunity to steer large capital decisions, identify problems and help resolve them in real time, and create value throughout the lifecycle of the program.

This is a technical finance role. You’ll need to understand how a program actually gets built, from new equipment procurement and facility construction to cycle times and resourcing. You’ll also work with central FP&A to incorporate program forecasts into the company plan and bring execution reality into the deal-making process so that future contracts and financing are structured appropriately.

What You’ll Do

Be the dedicated finance partner to leaders and engineers on Hadrian’s newly contracted programs, from contract award to at-rate production

Own program budgets, baselines, and EACs. Turn contracted economics into a measurable, working budget for capex, headcount and operating cost that program teams can execute against and be held accountable to

Track and challenge capital spend (factory construction, equipment and tooling) from approved budget through to commissioning

Build bottoms-up cost models from engineering inputs and new systems that show how each program is performing against its contract, its baseline and the company plan

Evaluate in-flight decisions such as scope changes, equipment substitutions, scheduling, and make-vs-buys

Build and own the view of each program’s financials. Work with Accounting to make sure costs are captured, coded, and capitalized correctly

Spend time on the factory floor and in engineering reviews

Prepare materials for planning cycles, business reviews, and leadership updates

Provide feedback and data to Growth Finance and Capital Markets so contracts and financing are properly structured

What We’re Looking For

3–6 years of experience in FP&A, project finance, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or a similar analytical role (such as mechanical/industrial engineering)

Strong Excel skills, including building financial models from scratch

Comfort reading a BOM, quote, or construction schedule and translating it into a forecast

Working knowledge of SQL, or a strong interest in learning it quickly
