About Fable

Fable Security is rethinking how organizations manage human risk. Instead of once-a-year training that employees click through, we help security teams see which people are most at risk and change behavior in the moments that matter. Our product spans GenAI-powered briefings, behavioral risk models, multi-channel interventions, an admin and IT surface, analytics, and a growing layer of enterprise integrations.

We're an early-stage startup. That means small teams, high trust, and real ownership. Everyone here has a direct line to customers, to leadership, and to the outcomes their work drives. We move quickly, we're candid with each other, and we care more about solving the right problem than about who gets credit.

The role

We're hiring a Product Manager to own the most impactful parts of the Fable product from problem to shipped outcome. You'll set the direction, own the roadmap, and be accountable for the results, from identifying the right problems to shipping solutions and measuring their impact on customers and the business.

You'll turn customer insights and company goals into a clear product strategy, make the hard prioritization calls, and lead execution alongside engineering. Engineers will be your partners in discovery and solution design, and you'll bring the product judgment and focus that turn strong ideas into successful products.

As one of the first PMs at fable, you'll have significant autonomy, direct influence on the company's direction, and the opportunity to shape how we build products as we grow. This is an individual contributor role with substantial ownership: your impact will come form the products you lead, the decisions you make, and the outcomes you deliver.

What you'll do

Own the roadmap for your area. Build and maintain a roadmap that ties directly to company goals and customer needs. Make the tradeoffs explicit and explain the "why" behind every priority.

Partner deeply with engineering. Work with engineers as co-creators from discovery through delivery. Scope problems together, make smart build-vs-defer calls, and keep the team focused on the work with the most impact.

Build AI-native product. Help shape features where the model is the core mechanic, not a bolt-on. Think about evals, quality, and what each new model generation makes possible.

Turn ambiguity into clear plans. Take loosely defined problems, frame them sharply, and write crisp specs that give engineers enough context to make good decisions on their own.

Drive execution. Run planning and prioritization, unblock the team, track progress, and hold a high bar for what ships and when.

Stay close to customers. Talk to CISOs and security practitioners regularly. Join customer calls, dig into usage data, and bring real evidence into product decisions.

Align stakeholders so the team can ship. Keep sales, customer success, marketing, design, and leadership informed and pulling in the same direction. Bring the right people in early, handle disagreement directly, and keep alignment in service of shipping, never as an end in itself.

Measure what matters. Define success metrics before you build, check them after you ship, and change course when the data says to.
