You will manage the entire spectrum of customer outcomes, initiating with deep discovery and investigative work and culminating in the design, integration, deployment, and long-term enablement of the customer.

This position sits at the intersection of analytical rigor, financial services expertise, and strategic customer partnership. You will engage directly with banks and other financial institutions to understand their operational goals, risk requirements, investigative needs, and compliance challenges, developing bespoke workflows that allow organizations to leverage Chainalysis independently.

In this role, you’ll

Partner directly with banks and financial institutions to understand investigative, intelligence, compliance, fraud, AML, and operational objectives and translate them into actionable outcomes

Enable customers to operate solutions independently, building internal capability and embedding Chainalysis into their operational infrastructure

Act as the primary technical and domain advisor for customers, building trusted relationships through hands-on expertise and credibility

Deliver live training, demonstrations, investigative walkthroughs, and technical briefings to both technical and non-technical audiences

Support pre-sales technical engagement for complex and strategic financial services opportunities, helping customers understand what is possible and how to achieve it

Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Global Intelligence, and Sales to influence the roadmap and improve offerings based on customer and market intelligence

Develop and share financial services domain expertise, investigative techniques, and best practices that raise the capability of the wider team

Professional experience working directly with banks, financial institutions, or other financial services organizations

Fluency in both spoken and written Japanese

Conducted or directly supported cryptocurrency investigations, blockchain intelligence, financial crime analysis, AML, compliance, fraud, or related work in an operational environment

Strong understanding of how banks and financial institutions manage financial crime, compliance, risk, investigations, and digital asset exposure

Deep familiarity with blockchain ecosystems, including BTC, ETH, stablecoins and DeFi, and how on-chain data can be used within financial crime, compliance, risk, or investigative workflows

Delivered customer-facing technical solutions, whether investigative outputs, data products, or analytical workflows, in complex real-world environments

Built insights from large or complex datasets and communicated findings to varied audiences, from analysts to senior banking executives

Operated successfully in fast-paced, ambiguous environments requiring ownership, adaptability, and sound judgment
